What happens during a typical session

Each webinar follows a consistent structure designed to maximize practical learning time. Instructors demonstrate techniques live, then guide students through application.

Opening 20 minutes: review of previous week's assignment submissions with specific notes on 3 selected scenes
Core 50 minutes: instructor demonstrates new analytical technique on a prepared text excerpt with real-time annotation
Practice 30 minutes: students apply the technique to a different scene, submit observations via chat for immediate instructor response
Closing 15 minutes: assignment briefing for the coming week with clear evaluation criteria

Borys trained at Kharkiv Theatre Institute and has directed 14 productions. He teaches vocal technique and physical expression, with particular focus on how breath control affects text delivery.

Olenka specializes in text interpretation and character development. She has 8 years of teaching experience and works as a script consultant for independent film projects.

Teaching philosophy

We believe actors need concrete tools, not inspiration. Every technique we teach has been tested in professional rehearsal rooms. If a method cannot be applied within 24 hours of learning it, we do not include it in our curriculum.

Students often arrive with habits that interfere with text comprehension. We address these directly rather than working around them. This requires patience and repeated practice, which is why our programs run 12 weeks instead of condensed intensive formats.

Feedback is specific and actionable. When we review submitted scene work, comments reference exact moments in the performance with timestamps and suggested adjustments. Generic praise does not help actors improve.
